How can we become more curious?
This question got me very curious ๐ I was curious about curiosity!
The simple answer to be more curious is to simply ask more questions. As we grew up, we somehow lost some of that super strong curiosity we had about everything when we were young. I suspect the phrase “Curiosity killed the cat had something to do with it” โ๐ป
I had the privilege to be coached by Ched (thank you Ched! โค), an experienced coach sometime ago and curiosity was something core that that she highlighted in me. I’m naturally curious and that is a strength that I did not fully recognize and embrace until she pointed that out. On further reflection, I realized that my natural born curiosity is also intricately linked to the 2 forces that drive me – my love for learning and my love of helping others learn. That is why I coach others today, I facilitate and I consult to help individuals, teams and organizations learn, and applying that learning to help them perform better.

To your success!
